Announcing Our New Page: dubaclub.com and Our Journey Forward
Introduction:
Duba Club has been on an incredible journey of growth and transformation. Founded by Sufi Nafiz Imtiaz Shimul with the invaluable help,support & participations of Wadud and Ohid, who also serve as co-founders, we have embarked on a mission to address societal needs and create a positive impact.
This blog post serves as an announcement of our new official Facebook page, Dubaclub.com, and an update on our ongoing initiatives and future plans.
Formation of Duba Ltd and Future Plans:
In our pivotal meeting on December 18,2021, we formalized Org Duba, establishing a committee with Rebel and Munna as Convener and Secretary, respectively.
This step was crucial in laying the foundation of Duba & Duba Club, which aims to foster social engagement, financial empowerment, and educational growth. In the coming years, we plan to form Duba Club Limited with the active initiation and participation of our women members, ensuring a balanced and inclusive approach.
Our Journey and Challenges:
From the beginning, Duba & Duba Club have faced numerous challenges. In the last few days, our attempts to verify our admin 'Duba Club' Facebook profile were met with obstacles due to platform regulations. Consequently, we decided to launch a new official page, Dubaclub.com, which we aim to verify soon to enhance our online presence and community engagement.
Aligning with Facebook’s Vision:
While navigating Facebook’s guidelines, we discovered that Facebook’s mission aligns closely with our own.
Much like Facebook, we are dedicated to creating a new social reality for a selected area that promotes community building and positive social change. Inspired by and learning from Facebook, we have articulated our mission, vision, and core values, reflecting our commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowered community.
New Initiatives and Announcements:
1.Launch of dubaclub.com Facebook Page:
- We are thrilled to announce the launch of our official Facebook page, dubaclub.com. This page will serve as a central hub for all our activities, updates, and community engagement.
2.Introduction of New Messenger Groups:
- We have initiated professional messenger groups for Dhaka, Chittagong and Feni, managed by Mahin, Tasnim, and Raju, who will also be part of our director panel. This will ensure effective communication and collaboration within our community.
3.Organizational Development:
- We will formulate Duba and the Dhaka University Business Alliance (DUBA) in a more organized manner, ensuring structured growth and strategic planning for future initiatives.
- As our Duba Club or Duba general membership is free and we cannot yet give voting rights to our members, we will make our core 'Duba' more vibrant and professional, and plan to give everyone voting rights in the future. Our current focus is on the successful development of Duba Club, Duba Professionals Club, Duba Investment, or Dubai Club.
Differentiating Duba & Duba Club:
- Duba:Duba is the broader initiative encompassing various projects aimed at social engagement and educational growth. It includes the Dhaka University Business Alliance and other overarching missions.
- Duba Club: Duba Club formulated the 'Duba Committee' and focuses on building a community through events, memberships, and professional development activities. It operates under the umbrella of Duba Ltd and is poised to expand with the participation of women members in the formation of Duba Club Ltd. [If you find it hard to differentiate between the two, there’s no need to worry. Simply consider Duba if you can't align yourself with Duba Club, or align yourself with Duba Club if you can't with Duba.]
